Film compact vs. phone on a two-day hike
I carried both for a weekend to see which one I would actually use. The phone won on convenience and lost on everything else I care about when my fingers are cold.
The compact has one button that matters and a viewfinder I can use with gloves on. Thirty-six frames also make me stop and look before I shoot.
